I currently own two of Steve Barsky's books: Dry Suit Diving, and Diving in High-Risk Environments.
As a novice dry suit diver, Dry Suit Diving answered all of my possible questions about how to use and care for my suit, and the best tips and techniques for a novice dry suit diver. Today as a more experienced diver I still use this book as a reference whenever I have a question on a topic.
Diving in High-Risk Environments, provided me all (NOT SOME BUT ALL) the information I needed about how to protect myself while diving in areas of questionable water. As a rescue diver the possibility of coming in contact with water that may cause illness is always a concern to me and this book did an EXCELLENT job of explaining how to take simple precautions on how to dive safely. I was in fact looking at the Hammerhead Press' website to purchase a third Steve Barsky book which should tell you how much I feel this author's books help me to be a better diver.
Keep up the excellent work and thank you for helping the scuba diving community by providing us with such excellent and easy to read books.
